Mykonos is the capital of nightlife in Greece, world famous for its exotic beaches and all-night clubs. Often called the Ibiza of Greece, Mykonos is a characteristic island of the traditional Cycladic style. In the morning, stroll around the beautiful village of Chora, with the narrow paths and the tiny shops. At noon, head to the wonderful beaches of the southern side: some of them are organized with all-day beach bars and water sports, and some others are secluded and calm. Mykonos is not only an island for crazy youth, but it also has nice places to enjoy calmness. After sunset, the most popular place to be is Chora, in one of the nice bars with all-night music.
The next destination is Santorini, with a totally different atmosphere than Mykonos. Santorini is more romantic and quiet. The perfect place for couples, the villages of Santorini are built on top of the caldera hills and offer gorgeous views of the volcano and the vast Aegean Sea. The top activity to do in Santorini is to take the excursion boat to the volcano and see the sunset from Oia. The southern side of the island has lovely, organized beaches with much tourist development.
Naxos is among the most beautiful islands of the Cyclades, distinguished for its beautiful mountainous villages, crystal beaches, and historical sightseeing. The western coasts of Naxos are the most developed in tourism with amazing water, water sports centers, and the perfect wind for windsurfing and kite surfing. However, do not also miss a drive through the inland with the cozy villages perched in the mountains, the interesting trekking paths, and the ancient sites.
