Pelion Neochori

General information

Neochori village Pelion: Neochori is a small but picturesque village on the eastern side of Pelion peninsula. Located 35 km north east of Volos, Neochori is located close to the villages of Afysos and Agios Dimitrios. With the typical architecture of Pelion and surrounded by lush greenery, Neochori has large plane trees in the square and a fountain dating from 1801. Also the church of Agios Dimitrios, below the square of Neochori, dates from 1768 and has interesting wall paintings inside.
