CityTrail Meteora 2014- Fun Race

The first CityTrail Meteora is organized on Sunday October 26th, 2014, with the support of the Classical Athleticism Association of Meteora and the Municipality of Kalambaka. This CityTrail Marathon offers runners the chance to experience the spectacular landscape of Meteora. Immense rock pinnacles and large complexes of Orthodox monasteries that balance on them make a unique running scenery.
The races include a 10 km race for adults and a 1 km race for children. Both races will start and finish at the Town Hall Square of Kalambaka. The time limit for the 10 km race is 2 hours. Participants must be at least 18 years old for the 10 km race and 8 years old for the 1 km race.
Registrations are open until Monday, October 13th. All participants will receive a participation diploma, a commemorative olive wreath, ancient symbol of athleticism, and a starting pack.
