Right across the mansion of the Trikoupis family, on the street of Triantafillou Spondi lies the museum of Kostis Palamas.
Housed in the old mansion of Palamas family, the museum hosts a collection of the great Greek poet’s personal items, documents as well as photographs, guiding the visitor through the life and works of the major artist from Mesolongi.
The edifice’s construction date is not certain, however, we do know that this was the house that the great scholar Panagiotis Palamas was born in 1722. The building is a two-floored, aristocratic edifice with an impressive glass veranda and exterior arches that make it stand out.
