Information about the Beaches in Sterea, in Greece but also information about beaches in some locations of the region: The prefecture of Sterea is located in the center of Greece and it is not much open to foreign tourism. There are some Sterea beaches, however, it traditionally keeps a more family-oriented tourism profile.
A very lovely tourist place in Sterea is Nafpaktos, a small seaside town with Venetian architecture and clean beaches in the surrounding region. Itea and Kammena Vourla are also nice places for family holidays in the summer with many tourist facilities. These places can also be used as a base for excursions in central Greece.
