Skopelos Perivoliou beach

General information

Located on the northeastern coasts of Skopelos, around 4.5 kilometers from the village of Glossa, Perivoliou is a secluded beach enclosed by impressive verdant cliffs that give it a wild kind of beauty. Fringed by diaphanous sky-blue waters, it is ideally strewn with sand; nevertheless, bringing along a pair of water shoes might be a good idea, as the seabed is interspersed with stones.

During the summer months, the beach is partly organized with umbrellas and sunbeds provided by a local canteen. Access is possible by road, but, if you’re into hiking, you might prefer to follow a scenic path with steps that lead there from Glossa.

Tip: Be sure to check the weather forecast first, as Perivoliou Beach is exposed to the strong northerly winds that blow in the summer.
