Skiathos Hiking
Skiathos has a selection of popular unmarked routes that help visitors and residents explore hidden corners of the island while exercising! These trails link the Town with remote spots, as well as various sights with beaches, olive grove forests, and countryside landscapes!
Below are some recommended unmarked trails that one can follow on Skiathos.
We highly advise all hikers to carry enough water, take the necessary sun protection measures, and wear shoes suitable for hiking. For the longer trails, it is best to bring food and basic first aid supplies.

The route around the island's Town is an easy walk around its paved streets, impressive structures, and the house of renowned Greek writer Alexandros Papadiamantis.

Take this route to reach the archaeological site and the beach of Xanemos, passing right by the airport's facilities.

• Trail 5: The Roads of the Monastery (Monastery of Evangelistria - Town - Agioi Anargiroi)
This U-shaped trail connects the Town with the island's northern side, the Monastery of Agioi Anargiroi, Padelakia Spring, and the Monastery of Evangelistria, which offers excellent views over Skiathos.
