Skiathos Tzaneria beach

General information

Tzaneria is a coastal settlement situated 7 km southwest of Skiathos Town. The main attraction of the area is the beautiful Tzaneria Beach, where a small stretch of golden sand borders the crystal blue sea. The beach is sheltered from strong winds, allowing for mostly calm waters that are ideal for swimming. It is surrounded by vast greenery and tall pine trees, some of which reach the water’s edge.

The beach is well-organized offering multiple rows of umbrellas and sundecks along with a water sports center and a diving center. The cozy beach bar serves delectable snacks and ice-cold drinks which guests can enjoy while taking in the views of the beach. There is plenty of parking space as well. The wider region features many accommodation options that allow for easy access to the beach, along with a variety of restaurants and cafes. About 1 km south of Tzaneria, you will also find the equally wonderful Kanapitsa Beach.

Access to Tzaneria is very easy, requiring a mere 15-minute drive down the main road from Skiathos Town. If you are not traveling in a private vehicle, there is a bus stop just 500 meters from the beach, with buses departing frequently from Skiathos Town. Due to its short distance from the town center, Tzaneria Beach often gets crowded, especially during peak summer months.
