General information

Psarochoma Beach is located on the eastern coast of Skiathos, just north of the settlement of Xanemos and 3.5 km northeast of Skiathos Town. It lies in an isolated cove surrounded by imposing hills and impressive rock formations, lending an untamed natural flair to the area. The tall hills also offer some nice shady spots to relax under. Because of its secluded location, the beach is mainly accessible by boat or water taxi that departs from the main port in Skiathos Town.

The shore is comprised of dense sand, and the waters are crystal clear, however, they are not protected from the wind and can get a bit choppy. They also deepen relatively quickly, so this may not be the best spot for families with smaller children. Psarochoma Beach is unorganized, lacking sunbeds, umbrellas, and any further amenities. The nearby Xanemos does not feature many tourist facilities either, except for a few stores and a handful of accommodations.
