Skiathos Lechouni beach

General information

Lechouni Beach is located on the northern shore of Skiathos. It is also known as Nikotsara Beach as, according to local tradition, this is where the renowned armatole Nikotsaras was buried. It boasts fine sand adorned with white pebbles and light blue waters that are strikingly clear. The natural surroundings of the beach include impressive hills and rugged rocks that lend an enchanting and isolated atmosphere to the area.

The beach remains untouched by human activity and features no sunbeds or umbrellas. Visitors are advised to come well-equipped with all the essentials, including food and water. The distinct lack of facilities is what sets Lechouni apart, allowing beach-goers to bask in the beauty of a completely unadulterated natural expanse.

The road to Lechouni is not smooth, but it stops right at its shore. In proximity to Lechouni, you will find the scenic Megas Gialos Beach, which is also worth a visit.
