General information

Agistros Beach is located on the western side of Skiathos. It lies right next to Elia Beach and features crystal azure waters and golden sand. The surrounding natural landscape lends an enchanting atmosphere to the area, with beautiful lush green hills hugging the coast and impressive rock formations spread throughout.

Despite its untamed natural character, Agistros Beach does offer some amenities, including two rows of sunbeds and parasols. A snack bar lies right on the coast, offering refreshing drinks and delectable food that you can enjoy from the comfort of your rented sunbed. The beach remains relatively undiscovered and rarely gets crowded, creating the ideal conditions for a relaxing day of swimming and sunbathing. The clarity of the waters also makes this an ideal snorkeling destination.

Accessing the beach can be a bit challenging as it is fairly secluded. From the bus stop in Mandraki, you can follow a 2 km-long dirt track that will lead you through a beautiful pine forest before reaching the idyllic beach. You can also opt to take a boat or water taxi that departs from the main port in Skiathos Town.
