Alonissos Votsi beach

General information

The beautiful shingle beach of Votsi is located in the settlement of the same name, a couple of kilometers north of Patitiri. This small bay is surrounded by intricate rock formations streaked with red stripes and lush greenery. The waters are emerald green and relatively shallow, making this an ideal swimming destination for families with younger kids. Beach shoes are recommended due to the pebbly shore and rocky seabed.

Next to the beach lies the picturesque harbor of Votsi, where small fishing boats (caiques) and yachts are usually moored. The surrounding area offers tourist facilities, including seaside taverns serving high-quality seafood. Accommodations can be found in the settlement of Votsi, while a supermarket and a mini-market are also located within a 10-minute walk from the beach.

The beach itself is not organized. However, due to the many facilities around it and its small size, it is often crowded and is not recommended for those seeking a quiet and isolated experience.
