Alonissos Milia beach

General information

The picturesque Milia Beach lies on the southeastern shore of Alonissos, about 4 km northeast of Patitiri, the capital of the island. This lovely shingle beach boasts colorful round stones bordering its crystalline emerald waters that shine under the sunlight. Hidden away in a small gulf, the beach is surrounded by a lush pine forest with trees that almost reach the shore. Small hills protect the area from strong winds, making this an ideal swimming destination.

Despite its wild natural charm, Milia Beach is not without its fair share of facilities. There are sunbeds and umbrellas available for rent as well as a cafe serving authentic Greek coffee and delicious Mediterranean dishes. A couple of accommodations can also be found nearby, which offer comfortable rooms and easy access to the beach.

Milia Beach is reachable from Patitiri via an 8-minute drive and you should have little difficulty finding a parking spot. Visitors eager to explore more of Alonissos’ stunning shores can venture out to the beach of Chrisi Milia, situated within a short drive from Milia.
