Poros Nightlife

Poros has a traditional style, therefore its nightlife is a lot more peaceful than other islands of Greece. However, that does not mean that Poros' nightlife is non-existent! Due to its proximity to Athens, a number of young Athenians choose to visit Poros during the weekend for an alternative night out.

Poros' main nightlife is situated in the main town, where visitors can see a variety of interesting bars that stay open until dawn! One of these is the Joy Bar, where you can enjoy a cocktail overlooking the sea or party on the dance floor on the first floor. Oceanis, the rooftop bar of Dimitra Boutique Hotel is another excellent option, as it offers lovely views over the port and deep-blue waters.
Other than its bars, visitors of Poros can take a walk around the starlit main town and enjoy a lovely dinner near the harbor in one of Sferia’s famous local taverns, like Apagio! You can enjoy dishes made with fresh fish and afterward take a calming stroll on some of the island-pair’s beaches that are close to the town, such as Askeli or Kanali.
