Ampelos Wine Bar is a small stone-built bar in the main town of Poros, started in 2018 by Porou Ampelos, a winery based on Poros’ traditional practices of wine-making! The wine bar is reminiscent of an old wine cellar with its stone walls and wooden furniture. Ampelos’ mission: To showcase the history of wine and its superiority when it comes to alcoholic beverages. It serves a wide selection of wines, both Greek and foreign, as well as a variety of wine-based cocktails. Ampelos’ mixologists and bartenders take their work seriously by selecting premium wines from all over the world. After all, the wine bar’s motto is: Drinking is a necessity, wine is art!

The wine-bar is situated in a small corner in the heart of the main town, and next to it you can also see Porou Ampelos’ wine cellar, which holds an impressive collection of local wines, both produced by the winery, as well as premium Greek labels, and the very best from all corners of the world. Porou Ampelos also hosts regular wine tasting sessions on the premises, so you can enrich your palette and expand your wine knowledge.
