Licensed business owner and horse caretaker Harriet Jarman is an experienced English and Greek speaker who has lived in Hydra since the age of 10 and, along with her love for nature, is the leader of a team filled with fully-trained horses!

An experience with Harriet’s Hydra Horses will lead you to various spots around the island, such as churches and monasteries, beaches, and wild mountainsides! Some examples are trips to the nearby Vlichos, Kaminia Village, the Church of Agios Konstantinos, the beautiful Monastery of Agia Matrona, the settlement of Palamida, and around the monastery of Agia Fotini and Hydra Town! Moreover, Harriet will accompany you through the ride, showing you some of Hydra’s most beautiful spots, along with their historical background!

Enjoy one of the standard treks, or create your own pathway upon earlier request! Harriet’s Hydra Horses are also fit for wedding events, as well as horseback riding experiences inside the sea! Furthermore, the business will provide you with all necessary and up-to-date equipment, including safety helmets and saddles, along with a first aid kit carried by Harriet. It is recommended that you wear a pair of casual shoes and bring a bag with all the essentials for the ride, like water, sunblock, mosquito repellent, a few snacks, and even a camera!
