Hydra Airport

There is no airport on Hydra Island. The nearest airport is the International Airport of Athens, which receives flights from all over the world as well as from several areas in Greece.

In order to get from Athens to Hydra, travelers must get to the port of Piraeus. Numerous ferries to Hydra depart daily from Piraeus and the travel time is one and a half to two (1.5-2) hours.

Ferries to Hydra also depart from the areas of Porto Heli and Ermioni in the Peloponnese. It takes less than 30 minutes to get from Ermioni to Hydra, while the journey from Porto Heli lasts around 1.5 hours.
