Agistri Church of Agia Kyriaki

The Church of Agia Kyriaki dominates the small village of Limenaria, found on the southeastern side of Agistri. This beautiful religious structure has the form of a typical three-aisled basilica. It stands out for its striking, whitewashed walls, roof tiling, and impressive dome.

Found in the central square of the village, the church is surrounded by colorful buildings and gorgeous lush greenery. Every year on July 7th the locals gather in the church to celebrate the feast day of Agia Kyriaki. A big festival is held, accompanied by local delicacies and traditional music.
