The port town of Skala is the busiest tourist destination on the island and hosts most of its tourist facilities. The capital of Megalochori is another popular spot, characterized by its blend of modern establishments with traditional houses and rustic alleys. For a quieter experience, visit the small village of Metochi, found on a slope between Megalochori and Skala, or venture out to the isolated settlement of Limenaria, dominated by the church of Agia Kyraki.

    Halikiada is a wonderful beach in Agistri with blue green waters and lush greenery. This is a naturist beach and can be reached through a steep hike from Skala.
  • Skala beach
    Skala is the best organized and main beach in Agistri. Many tourist facilities are found only a short walk from there, such as studios, taverns and shops.
  • Aponissos beach
    Aponissos is a nice beach place with exotic blue green waters. A nice fish tavern is found right on the beach. Aponissos can be accessed by bus from Skala or Megalochori.
