The church of Agios Antonios is located in the southeastern corner of Aegina. This small remote chapel is located on a small hill near the villages of Anitseo and Vlachides, 12 km off the main Town of Aegina. The chapel is predominantly white with a few blue details painted on it. It is guarded by a fence and it overlooks the vast sea of the Saronic Gulf.

The road to ascend the hill and reach the chapel is difficult and coarse, but well worth the wait for the breathtaking view of the sea and the rest of the island.
Next to the chapel, on the top of the hill, there is also the Agios Antonios Observatory. This small observatory is one of three built in Aegina during the German occupation of Greece in WWII. From there, you can see the Saronic Gulf and most of the Aegina mainland.
