How to get to Sparti?

KTEL buses connect Sparti with nearby locations in Peloponnese, like Kalamata, Gythio, Mystras and Monemvasia, as well as with further destinations, like Athens. In order to reach Sparti from Athens by KTEL bus, you have to take the bus from Kifissos bus station. The trip lasts about 4 hours. In order to reach Sparti from Athens by car, you need to drive through the Greek National Road Athens - Corinth and follow the direction to Tripolis. After Tripolis, you will follow the route to Sparti. The distance between Athens and Sparti is about 212 km.
