The privately-owned olive groves from which the oil is produced are located in communities Platanos and Linaria of Olympia municipality. Olives are harvested by hand in the traditional way and the production of olive oil is made by cold press method by mechanical means alone. The procedure is always carried out within 24 hours from the olive collection form the trees.
