The complex consists of two stone-built residences dating from the late 17th century when the area was under Venetian rule. Both houses feature domed roofs and authentic furniture from the era of Neoclassicism while offering access to a small courtyard that allows guests to take in the fantastic views of a small square lined with beautifully restored buildings. One of the two houses has even managed to incorporate part of the rocky terrain into its architectural design! Each unit can accommodate a family of four (or a group of up to 3 adults) and is furnished with a double bed, a small sitting room and tastefully painted closets. Guests will also find a comfortable shower and a fully-equipped kitchenette, ideal for preparing breakfast and small meals. Other amenities comprise air conditioning and outdoor furniture.

Facilities and Experiences
Another thing that makes Monemvasia Castle-houses stand out is the quaint stone-built Chapel of Saint Andrew, which is located right on the premises! Built close to the Church of Elkomenos Christos, this chapel is a one-aisled domed basilica with remarkable old frescoes.
