How to get to Kyparissia?

Ιntercity routes connect Kyparissia with other places nearby, more specifically with Kalamata and Gargaliani. As the central bus stop of Messinia prefecture is located in Kalamata, you can take another bus from this point and reach nearby villages or further destinations. Moreover, there are frequent buses from Athens to Kyparissia, too. They depart from Kifissos KTEL Bus Station in Athens and arrive at the central square of Kyparissia. The trip lasts about 4 hours.

In order to reach Kyparissia from Athens by car, you need to drive through the Greek National Road Corinth - Kalamata. After Tripolis, you will follow the signs to Kyparissia. From this point, you need to be even more careful, as the road network becomes more narrow. The distance between Athens and Kyparissia is about 245 km.
