Travel to Epidaurus by bus

There are daily buses from Athens to Palea Epidaurus and the Theatre of Ancient Epidaurus, either direct or via Nafplion. Buses from Athens to Epidaurus depart from Kifissos KTEL Bus Station and the trip lasts for 2 hours. To go to Kifissos KTEL Bus Station, passengers have to take Bus 051 from Omonoia or Bus X93 from the airport of Athens.

There are also very frequent bus itineraries from Nafplion to Epidaurus. The trip takes about 1 hour. In nights when theatre performances are presented in the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, there are special bus itineraries from Nafplion and Athens (KTEL Kifissos). This itinerary returns after the end of the drama performance.
