Half day sailing cruise to Shipwreck Bay (Epanomi)
General Description
An exciting boat tour lasting around 6 hours, this half-day cruise is a great chance to see some of the loveliest shores near Thessaloniki! We will first meet at the port of Nea Michaniona, a 45-minute drive from the center of Thessaloniki, then get on the boat and start our sea exploration in Thermaikos Bay!
Our main destination is the beach of Navagio (also known as the shipwreck of Epanomi), a long, sandy shore named after a cargo ship that sunk there and has been the coast’s main attraction since 1970! There, you can grab your snorkeling equipment, swim in the sea, and check out the sea bottom, or sunbathe with views of Greece’s highest mountain, Mount Olympus!
After swimming, around noon, our captain will prepare lunch for us. You can try out various flavors of northern Greece and some tasteful local wine before we return to Nea Michaniona.
