The Pontic Ladies Welfare Museum is situated in the region of Analipsi, along Vasilissis Olgas Avenue, about 4 km south of the city center. It was established in 1996 by the Merimna of Pontic Ladies, a historical association that has made significant charitable and cultural contributions. Its collection bears the title Embroidering the Memory and was officially inaugurated on December 1st, 2005.

A walk through the museum reveals the layered history, traditions, and art of Pontus. The exhibits include traditional embroideries and textiles that are used daily by the women of Pontus. There are also authentic costumes, woven items, and household objects on display, further illustrating the day-to-day lives of this community. Furthermore, visitors can get an unprecedented look into the techniques used for the creation of these artistic works, some of which date back hundreds of years.

The museum aims to highlight and preserve the Pontic cultural heritage, while also supporting women of the Pontic community. In addition to its permanent exhibits, it regularly hosts events and cultural happenings that further showcase the unique customs of Pontus. Various education programs and activities are also frequently organized, with the express goal of promoting the Pontic language.

The Pontic Ladies Welfare Museum is open from 14:00 to 20:00 on Mondays and from 09:00 to 15:00 from Tuesday to Friday.
