Thessaloniki ANEL Honey Park

The ANEL Honey Park is the only park in Greece dedicated to bees. The idea behind its establishment was to find a way for us humans to say "thank you" to the bee; considering that about a third of the food we eat every day depends on this little insect.

Initially, the creators thought of creating a space with plants that would not exist without the bees having a hand in it. However, as there are too many of these plants, it was finally decided to create a park of plants that would make bees happy, also known as plants for bees. The park’s purpose is to answer some basic questions about the environment, its relationship with humans, and the balance between them. The beekeeping flora in Greece is threatened by human intervening behaviors, making a space dedicated to it necessary.

There are plenty of things to do at the ANEL Honey Park, making it the perfect expedition for families.
- Wander at the “Nature Museum” and observe the several species coexisting harmoniously.
- Observe the routine of the bees from a close distance in a special observation hive.
- Have a relaxing bee therapy session in the specially designed houses. There, you’ll have the opportunity to relax by listening to the buzz of the bees.
- Try bee products, cosmetics, and herbs. The expert staff can inform you about their beneficial properties.

The ANEL Honey Park is open Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00 and Saturday from 08:00 to 16:00.
