TransportationFacilities

Thessaloniki Port is conveniently located in the heart of Thessaloniki, within a couple of kilometers from the city center.

It is one of the busiest ports in the country, serving as a commercial and transportation hub for northern Greece. Throughout the year, a weekly ferry route connects Thessaloniki Port to Athens and the islands of the Eastern Aegean (Lemnos, Lesvos, Chios, Samos, Fourni and Ikaria), as well as to Syros and Mykonos in the Cyclades. Moreover, between early June and mid-September, there are around 3 weekly ferries to the Sporades (Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos), which also stop at Mantoudi Port in Euboea.

The Eastern Aegean route is operated by conventional vessels belonging to Blue Star, while itineraries to the Sporades are served by high-speed ferries owned by Sea Jets.
