General information

Pefkohori beach Halkidiki: It is a fabulous beach with amazing blue waters and nice facilities located 68 km south of Poligiros, the main town of Halkidiki and 80 km from Thessaloniki. Pefkohori is a lovely beach resort and very busy during the high season. It is an ideal destinations, for the nature lovers gifted with some beautiful spots such as the nearby beach of Pagliouri which is a lovely camping site as well.

The waters are so calm and clear and a nice swimming spot for families. The waterfront promenade of Pefkohori is lined with nice taverns with charming terraces overlooking the beach. Besides sunbathing and swimming, Pefkohori beach offers many snorkeling sites.

Problem with parking seats

Pefkohori is a nice place, although a bit overcrowded in July. I personally prefer quieter beaches, like Pagliouri where there is also a camping site, if you like nature. The taverns by the beach were great and their prices normal. The only problem was that there were not enough parking places in most villages of Halkidiki.
