Meganisi Weather

The weather of Meganisi is the typical Mediterranean one, with long, warm summers and mild winters. In summer, the temperatures are quite high, reaching even 40oC some days. A light breeze might blow in the evening to make the atmosphere cooler. June and September are pretty cool, as the average temperature is 30oC. Winter is quite cold in December and January but temperatures usually do not fall under 5oC. It rarely snows on Meganisi. Most rains fall in late autumn or early spring and usually last for a couple of hours.
