Mathraki Plakes

General information

Plakes Village Mathraki: Plakes is the main port of Mathraki located on the northern side of the island. It is a small and picturesque settlement with beautiful houses and a couple waterfront taverns surrounding the natural bay. Surrounded by lush greenery, Plakes has a small beach with crystal water and nice sand. An asphalted road connects Plakes to Chorio, the capital village of Mathraki. Close to Plakes, you will find some of the most amazing beaches like Mathraki and Portello, both reachable on foot.
