General information

Portello Beach Mathraki: Portello is the most famous beach of Mathraki that lies on the eastern side of the island. It is actually the longest and the only sandy beach on Mathraki surrounded by lush greenery and crystal clear waters. Some houses lie close to the shore. Its large size and lush surroundings impress at first sight. This beach is easily reachable from the port of Plakes or Chorio village.
