General information

The beautiful Nikiana is a seaside village that is spotted no more than a 20-minute drive from the island's capital. Stretching along the shores of eastern Lefkada, Nikiana is known for originally being mainly a fishing village surrounded by strikingly lush vegetation! It features a main road that leads you from one end of the village to the other, whereas it neighbors the cosmopolitan town of Nydri, the small village of Perigiali, and the settlement of Episkopos!

The village offers a couple of seashores where you can enjoy the waters of the Ionian Sea, as well as a port for small-sized boats and private yachts! Furthermore, one will find plenty of snacking and dining options, a couple of supermarkets, some beachside bars, and many accommodation options, ranging from simple apartments and studios to deluxe villas! You may also drive or go for a hike up the nearby mountain to witness the beautiful hermitage of Agii Pateres!
