Location: Mylopotamos

Following the same path that leads to the now ruined watermills of Mylopotamos village, you will get to see the 20-meter-high Waterfall of Neraida (or Fonissa).
This place of outstanding natural beauty can be reached on foot and is one of the prettiest hiking routes you are going to find on the island.

On the way to the waterfall, you will discover cobblestone paths and a stone-built bridge you need to cross. With the sound of the waterfall guiding you, you will walk through dense nature full of wild trees and dragonflies.

Upon arriving at the waterfall, you will see a few ponds where you can swim, although keep in mind that the water is quite cold.
Those who continue hiking will encounter more ponds and charming vegetation and eventually reach Kalami Beach.

    Dry and no waterfall
We went in July 2024. No water at all. Didn't get any rain for the last 3 years. It is still green, but not really worth a visit at the moment.
