In the square of Estavromenos which was historically a well-frequented point in the town of Chora where important events of Kythirian history took place, lies an old two story manor house with an archway – a classical feature of Venetian architecture which characterizes the old town.
The old manor house of Father Samuel, a great ecclesiastical figure of the 19th Century, was inherited initially by the family of Panagiotis Nikiforakis and passed down to his descendants who transformed it into a guest house with great respect and careful interventions.
