General information

Firi Ammos is a long beach near the village of Kalamos and next to Komponada Beach. It is an unorganized beach with dazzling blue waters that deepen quickly and a wide shore of pebbles and red sand.

The shore is divided into two parts; an organized one with a beach bar offering sunbeds and umbrellas and a pristine part where people can set their gear and lay their towels on the pebbles. Since the shore is long and wide, it can accommodate several individuals.
On the right side of the beach, one will find a few amazing caves. Those having a canoe or SUP shouldn’t skip visiting them!

Firi Ammos is accessible by car. The road leading there is steep and relatively narrow at some points, especially in the final part. Conventional cars can descend it, yet we recommend being extra careful.

Note that there is another beach called Firi Ammos (Agia Pelagia) on the island’s northern side.
