  What an AMAZING find!

  We stayed in the La Cite in July 2010 - what an amazing place! They may not have many stars - but what they lack in the * rating they more than make up in cleanliness and customer service. We have just rebooked for 2012... and to be honest, I envisage us returning year on year. Superb!

  Welcome to new family

  My wife and I have just returned from a 14 night holiday at the La Cite Hotel in Lixouri, Kefalonia. I want to let you know that we had a very enjoyable time. The owners, management and all the staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful.The hotel and rooms were kept spotless. Outside, the pool area and gardens where very well maintained. This Hotel is 2 star!! We have stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels that would not meet this standard. We have made good friends here, it's as though you have been made welcome to a new family. We found plenty of tavernas to choose from in the square, 5 mins walk from the hotel, and the ferry to Argostoli another 2 mins. We hired a car from the man by the Port Police office in Lixouri. Being early in the season we bartered a good deal. Visits were made to Myrtos Beach, Assos, Fiskardo, Agia Efamia, Sami, Poros, Scala,and some fantastic beaches. Makris Gialos was a favourite. Fantastic scenery, a relaxing and very good holiday.

  Another superb holiday at La Cite! Thanks to Janet, Gerri, Costas, Eva & Irene, as well as Nikos, Litza, Marrianne & Mikis for all their hard work & friendship. Very relaxing time - but be careful of the cocktails......!!!!

  Nice and friendly

  Thanks to Janet and other staff(our Holliday mother :) ) we spent very nice two weeks in this small hotel. just come and see.

  We have just returned home after spending fourteen wonderful days at the La Cite. The hotel staff are wonderful and make you feel part of the family. We loved it so much we will be returning in May 2009.

  WE LOVE THIS HOTEL WE TRY TO GO TWICE A YEAR
  THE STAFF ARE WONDERFUL THE SETTING IS PEACEFUL.
  WE HAVE ALREADY BEEN TO CRETE AND ZANTE THIS YEAR BUT NOTHING COMPARES TO KEFALONIA AND THE LA CITE WE WERE THERE IN JULY AND HOPE TO BE BACK END OF SEPTEMBER

  Superb!

  Have been to La Cite the last 2 years and have enjoyed it so much that we are going twice this year. The staff are very friendly and obliging. It is about 5 minutes from Lixouri centre where there are some very good restaurants. The hotel and area are quiet, but that is what we like. Looking forward to our 2 visits this year.
