Lesvos is producing wine since ancient times. In fact, the wine of Lesvos and the neighboring island of Lemnos is referred even in the Homeric poem of Heliad. This tradition is continued until today and visitors shall find many Lesvos wineries around the island. Most wineries in Lesvos are found in the central part of the island and some of them are open for visitors.
