Icarus Festival is a popular multicultural festival organized every year in Ikaria! Its purpose is to host artists whose music has a common goal: to establish a dialogue between different cultures.

Throughout the year all Ikarian villages organize feasts to celebrate religious and some non-religious holidays.

The program of the Icarus Festival for Dialogue Between Cultures has already been annouced and, like every year, it includes many events, like film presentations, musical concerts and photo exhibitions.

The Icarus Festival for Dialogue Between Cultures will take place again this year from July 12th to August 19th on the beautiful island of Ikaria, Eastern Aegean.

On the island of Ikaria, Eastern Aegean, and for the 3rd year by now the Icarus Festival for Dialogue between Cultures is taking place from 23 June till 22 July 2008.

Covering the need for environmental information in the communities of the Aegean islands is top priority for Archipelagos. With this objective they organize events for local communities and island schools
