General information

Kambos Beach Ikaria: The long sandy beach of Kambos is located 40 km north west of Agios Kyrikos, the capital of Ikaria. It has clear shallow waters and is boarded by bamboos and other plants. A river plain forms the beach. A snack-bar and a popular beach bar are located on the beach. Some accommodations and taverns are available in the village.

    Nice and quiet
    I don't think beaches is the best Ikaria has to offer. I think the best feature of the island is the green landscape and the small villages. However, if I had to choose one beach, I would say Kambos. It is very long and with sand. Nice water and generally quiet. Do not expect to find wild beach bars, only some taverns.
