Situated approximately 8 kilometers from Livadia, the island’s main port, and about 3 kilometers south of Megalo Chorio, the capital, Eristos Beach is nestled within the Eristos Valley. The beach is long and wide, featuring coarse sand interspersed with pebbles. Tamarisk trees line parts of the shore, offering much-needed shade during the hot summer months. Following this trail for about 10 to 15 minutes brings adventurers to two smaller, secluded beaches. The first, often referred to as Kalimera Beach, is a tiny cove that can accommodate only a few visitors at a time, making it perfect for those seeking solitude. The Eristos Valley itself is a sight to behold, especially during the spring when wildflowers bloom in abundance, painting the landscape with vibrant colors. This area is also a haven for birdwatchers, as the diverse habitats between the beach and Megalo Chorio attract various bird species. Exploring the valley provides insight into the island’s agricultural practices and offers picturesque views of the surrounding mountains and sea.

Accessing Eristos Beach is easy. Visitors can reach the beach by following a track road from Megalo Chorio, making it one of the more easily accessible beaches on Tilos. For those relying on public transportation, buses connect Eristos with Livadia and Megalo Chorio, with a convenient bus stop just 100 meters from the shoreline.
