Artistic Village Contemporary Arts is a family-owned art gallery and museum of Ceramic Art located on the eastern coast of Rhodes, 23 kilometers outside Rhodes Town. It was established in 1984 by founder Nikolas I. Simikaos and has been operating ever since, serving as both an exhibition of contemporary pieces of art as well as an educational walk through the rich history and tradition of the art of ceramics.

In the inviting 600 sq. meter art gallery, visitors can see innovative artworks, ornaments, sculptures and compositions made from clay, glass, wood, bronze and other materials. All these pieces are available for purchase and are ideal for a novel gift. In the painting studio, original artworks individually signed by hand by the artist Nikos Simiakos are displayed, as well as many other classic and modern paintings.

Then there is the Artistic Village workshop, equipped with all the tools and machinery necessary for the creation of stylistically unique works of art. Finally, the museum present on location offers a look into the historical past and evolution of the art of ceramics, showcasing traditional ceramic pieces and many different tools such as a varied array of soil lay, a workshop and a kiln.

Artistic Village Contemporary art is open every day, from 10:00 to 18:00 and entrance is free.
