The long beach of Ialyssos is located in northwestern Rhodes, close to the Ixia resort. Boasting crystalline azure waters, the coastline is quite variegated, with some parts being rather pebbly and others sandy.

Ialyssos is well-organized, with sun loungers and umbrellas, as well as some of the biggest hotels on the entire island. Thus, some sections of the beach might not be as easily accessible, but visitors will find plenty of other spots, both organized and non-organized, in which to enjoy the sun and the sea.

Like most beaches on the northwestern coast of the island, Ialyssos is often choppy, which makes it an ideal spot for windsurfing. Close to the beach, visitors will find a windsurfing center and plenty of other water sports facilities. A series of taverns and beach bars also guarantee that bathers can fuel up and keep enjoying all that Ialyssos has to offer all day long.
