Rhodes Faliraki Beach

General information

The village of Faliraki boasts no less than 10 fabulous beaches, many of which have gained world renown. Among them are the main Faliraki Beach, Ladiko, Anthony Quinn Bay, Kathara, and the four enchanting coves that make up the Kallithea Springs.

Stretching for over 5 kilometers, the main Faliraki Beach has something for all tastes. Boasting crystalline turquoise waters and fine golden sand, interspersed with a few rocks, it is well-organized with taverns, beach bars, night clubs, hotels and ample water sports facilities. Near the beach, visitors will find the impressive Faliraki Waterpark with an aqua-gym, a wave pool and a huge 140-meter-long water slide!

At the eastern edge of Faliraki starts Mandomata, a secluded organized cove that is exclusively used by naturists.

Bad kind of nightlife in Faliraki
Faliraki beach was toooo large and pure sandy. We stayed in a hotel there and had views to the beach anytime. I could see that most time it was crowded, from early in the morning till almost midnight. Some beach bars stayed open all night long but I didn't like that kind of nightlife, as only drunken tourists usually stayed till that long. You could often hear crazy screams in the middle of the night. We stayed 10 days in Rhodes and spent only two whole days in Faliraki. The rest of the days we were making excursions around the island. I think people should take better care of this place, because it is turning into a bad place for families and prudent tourists.
