Rhodes Plimiri beach

General information

Plimiri Beach is located 76 km south of Rhodes Town. It is a natural bay that lies on the left side of the road while traveling from Lachania to Kattavia, in the homonymous Plimiri resort.

The beach is fairly remote and extends for 4 km, featuring spectacular dunes and lush vegetation. The shore is a mixture of sand and pebbles and the waters are crystal blue yet mostly choppy on account of the strong winds in the area. As it is quite secluded visitors can always find a quiet spot to relax, while it is also popular among nudists.

The beach is not very well organized. You will, however, be able to find a handful of sunbeds and parasols. There are also a few restaurants nearby, ideal for a quick bite after a dip in the sea.
