General information

Pefki Beach is situated on the southeast coast of Rhodes, about 51 km from Rhodes Town. It sports soft, golden sand with many pebbles and is reachable through a series of small pathways.

The shore is quite narrow in comparison to other beaches on the island. However, it is fairly well organized with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas available for rent. At the end of the beach, there are numerous rocky coves with shallow waters, ideal for a relaxing swim.

The peripheral area is well-developed and features all the contemporary tourist amenities. You will find shops, bars, and eateries. Visit any of the waterfront taverns and indulge in a wide variety of fresh seafood delicacies.

The beach can be reached by car, hired taxi, or bus from Rhodes Town. There's a free parking area for vehicles near the beach as well.

Pefki OK but not the best

I liked Pefki beach, we were going there to swim very often because our hotel was close. Not many special things, just a clean strech of sand and blue waters. However, I believe Rhodes has many more nice beaches, such as Faliraki or Tsambika, with more facilities and conveniences. Pefki is OK but not the best.
