Lothiarika Beach is located 51 km south of Rhodes Town. The closest village to the beach is Lardos, located 3 km from Lothiarika. Little roads wind their way from the main street of the village to the beach. The beach is also near Lindos, one of the most popular destinations of Rhodes that boasts many valuable archaeological sites.

Lothiarika is a quiet and picturesque stretch of pebbles with crystal-blue waters. It is about 1 km long but never gets too crowded, and is thus ideal for those craving a more serene experience. The beach offers sunbeds, umbrellas and a variety of water sports, while hotels, bars, taverns and cafes dot the surrounding area and provide a host of food and entertainment options. Of interest are the various buildings in the region that have been carefully designed to harmonize with the natural environment.

The beach, which has been awarded the Blue Flag, and the areas surrounding it are pretty unspoiled and have been the center for several environmental activities, like cleaning-up campaigns and seminars.
