The beach is fully organized, with sunbeds and umbrellas available for rent, along with some fish taverns and beach bars under the shade of trees. The golden sand and clean waters amaze visitors, providing the ideal conditions for swimming and sunbathing. There are also some water sports centers in the area offering activities such as jet skiing and paddleboarding.

The surrounding environment has sparse vegetation and high hills, while in the background people can see the amphitheatrically built village of Lindos and the Acropolis of Lindos on top of the mountain. Megali Paralia is popular among vacationing families for its big expanse and gradual entry into the water. It should be noted, however, that the beach tends to get very busy during peak summer months.
