General information

Kathara (meaning clean in Greek) is located 13 kilometers from the town of Rhodes and a few hundred meters from Faliraki. It is formed within a picturesque cove that acts as a natural breakwater so that its marvelous light-blue waters are always calm and perfectly safe for children. Though the beach itself is sandy, the sea bottom is rocky, which makes it an ideal spot for snorkeling too.

Though organized with umbrellas and sunbeds, Kathara remains an oasis of peace, so you can relax and enjoy the sun and the sea away from large crowds. If you’re looking for more beach facilities, you can explore the rest of the area’s wonderful beaches, like Anthony Quinn Bay, Ladiko, and the main Faliraki Beach.
